2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account data: name, email address, password, profile photo, job title, company name.
• Profile data: investment preferences, industry focus, funding stage interest, portfolio companies, LinkedIn or social links.
• Communications: messages sent through the Platform, support requests, feedback.
• Payment data: billing name, billing address. Payment card details are processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller (Merchant of Record), and are not stored on our servers. Paddle collects and processes payment information in accordance with its Privacy Notice.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform, clicks, and navigation paths.
• Device & technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers.
• Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, analytics cookies, preference cookies. See Section 8 for details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Data from LinkedIn or other OAuth providers if you choose to sign up via social login.
• Publicly available information used to verify company or investor credentials.

• Other users: Profile information you choose to make visible (e.g., founder pitch decks, investor profiles) is shared with matched counterparties on the Platform.
• Service providers: Hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools — under data processing agreements.
• Paddle (authorised reseller): Payment processing, billing, subscription management, and fraud prevention. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and processes your payment data in accordance with its Privacy Notice.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account:

• Profile and usage data are deleted within 30 days.
• Financial and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
